Imagix Dental is looking for a Orthodontic Assistant to support our office in Suwanee, GA and Norcross, GA to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.
Position Overview: As a Orthodontic Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Full-time Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday: Suwanee location, 8:00 a.m.–4:45 p.m.; Wednesday: Norcross location, 7:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.; every other Friday: Norcross location, 7:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Responsibilities
Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
2 years or more on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant - Required
X-Ray certification
Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
High school diploma or equivalent
Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
